A Letter From Our President

I would like to introduce myself as your new Firefighters' Benevolent Association President. I have found this position both challenging and enjoyable. This board is currently working to bring you all the amenities available to you through this organization. We are constantly trying to find new ways to make the current organization better and more user friendly to the members. These include a new website and periodic newsletters. We are always looking at ways to support our members and all associated charity events. While we accept proposals for all events associated with the benevolent members, we only have limited funds available for these events. So we are trying to create guidelines to follow when allocating funds. We are also restructuring our constitution to make it fair and equitable to all our members. This will also make the board more efficient in handling benevolent issues. Some of the events and amenities we are constantly trying to make better are the retiree's dinner, school of the holy childhood, loan fund, and all benevolent meetings. We are constantly monitoring the trust fund and trying to maximize the death benefit  through good sound investing by Clover Capitol. Still, member involvement and input can help make this a better and more creative organization.
