Brick Pavers at New Building

Our new building on Hudson Avenue will eventually include a pavilion, a Rochester firefighter memorial, and a sign out front. To raise money for these projects, the Two Percent Committee and the Rochester Firefighters’ Benevolent Association (RFBA) have teamed up to sell engraved brick pavers that will make up the patio behind the building. The pavers can be engraved with the first name, last name, and date of appointment for any sworn active, retired, or deceased member of the Rochester Fire Department. There are three lines available on each paver with a maximum of 15 spaces allotted for each line. To maintain uniformity throughout the patio, the following layout will be standard on every paver sold: First line: First name Second line: Last name Third line: Date of appointment Each paver will cost $100. Make checks payable to the Rochester Firefighters’ Benevolent Association, as the RFBA will be collecting and holding the funds for the Two Percent Committee until construction begins on the projects mentioned above.

Send checks and completed order forms to the RFBA office via interoffice mail (for active members) or mail them to: RFBA P.O. Box 31764 Rochester, NY 14603-1764

ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE ORDERING PROCESS SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO THE TWO PERCENT COMMITTEE MEMBERS, NOT LOCAL 1071. THE RFBA IS ONLY RECEIVING AND HOLDING THE MONEY FOR THIS PROJECT AND IS NOT INVOLVED IN ANY WAY WITH THE PAVER ORDERING PROCESS.
